On February 12, Chau Thanh District Police (Tien Giang) received and is handling a group of subjects who organized illegal racing that had just been handed over by the Traffic Police Department of Tien Giang Province.
Before that, on the night of February 11, receiving news that there would be a group of young people racing in the night on Highway 1A passing through Chau Thanh district, units of the Tien Giang Provincial Police organized secret forces to prevent and capture.
At more than 22:00 on the same day, a group of subjects appeared, obstructing traffic on Highway 1A towards Ho Chi Minh City. When more than 40 motorbikes of the target group began to swerve on the road, the functional forces poured out to block the road in both directions.
Discovering the police, the group of subjects racing to find a way to escape. Some subjects abandoned motorbikes to escape. It took more than 3 hours for functional forces to control and arrest the group of subjects.
At the scene, it was recorded that 44 subjects, both men and women, were restrained and 43 vehicles. Many vehicles have been modded and changed structures.
The subjects included both men and women aged between 16 and 25 years old.
Exploiting quickly, the target group said that the age group is from 16 to 25 years old. In the group of female subjects participating in racing, there was a pregnant woman.
