Naver first held a contest for Vietnamese programmers

With the contest “Naver up coding challenge 2023”, Vietnamese programmers will have the opportunity to show their talent and flexibility.

To participate in the contest “Naver up coding challenge 2023”, young Vietnamese people need to submit an application from February 8 to February 22, on event.navercorp.vn

Taking place from the end of February to the beginning of March, the programming contest consists of 2 rounds. In which, in round 1 – “Vitual Coding Challenge”, candidates can choose to take the online exam on 1 of 2 days, February 25 or February 26 according to the time announced by the Organizing Committee. Round 2 – “Live Coding Contest” held on March 3, contestants will compete directly at Naver Vietnam office in Ho Chi Minh City.

The jury will be department heads, experts from Naver Korea. It is expected that the exam content is also close to reality. In round 2, candidates will have from 1.5 to 2 hours to do the test. After that, the Jury scores and announces the winner.

Regarding the prize structure, the 4 best contestants will win prizes: 1 first prize worth 20 million dong, 1 second prize worth 10 million dong and 2 third prizes 5 million dong each.

This is also a personal test in the field of Frontend to find candidates to become official employees of this technology corporation in Vietnam. Specifically, after the rounds, Naver will select the 10 best candidates to take part in the recruitment exam to become an official employee at Naver Programming Center in Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition to Frontend programming, the corporation is continuously recruiting many other positions for Naver’s Programming Center in Vietnam.
