iPhone can add a super high-end Ultra version

iPhone Ultra could launch as early as 2024. September 2022, journalist Mark Gurman of Bloomberg predicts Apple will replace the “Pro Max” branding with “Ultra” from the line iPhone 15 2023. However, according to the latest information, Gurman thinks that Apple wants to create an even more powerful and advanced iPhone. That means it will cost more than the iPhone 14 Pro Max (lowest $ 1,099).

At last week’s meeting, Apple CEO Tim Cook does not rule out the possibility of an increase in iPhone prices in the future. He hinted that customers may want to pay more for a better product.

“iPhone has become inseparable from people’s lives. I think people are willing to spend extra to get the best in the price range,” he said.

According to the head of Apple, the iPhone is being used for payments, smart home control, health record management and banking data storage.

While it’s unclear what features will be included in the iPhone Ultra, Gurman speculates it could be related to the camera, chip and display, or the design that ditches all the ports. Apple gave users a reason to spend extra money by bringing the best to the Pro and Pro Max versions. For example, last year, Dynamic Island was an exclusive feature on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. Gurman believes that this year the level between the Pro version and the regular version is even more different.

iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max rumored to be equipped with USB-C port, power and volume keys with vibration feedback instead of hard keys. In addition, the iPhone 15 Pro Max may be the only device to use a periscope lens with better optical zoom, extending the gap with the iPhone 15 Pro.

Samsung has pursued this approach with the Ultra model, which offers more cameras, a larger battery, a larger screen, stylus support, large memory, and a distinct design. Not stopping here, the company also sells two high-priced folding smartphone models.
