Fans banned from the field for 3 years appeared in Lach Tray

In the match between Hai Phong and Binh Duong in the first round of V.League 2023, Tran Tien Dung fan suddenly appeared in the stands of Lach Tray Stadium despite a 3-year ban from VFF. The image was posted by Hai Phong FC’s fanpage but was taken down after only a few minutes.

In the 2022 season, Mr. Tran Tien Dung acted indignantly when he got off the field and spit at referee Hoang Ngoc Ha in the match between Hai Phong and Binh Dinh. Immediately after the incident, the Vietnam Football Federation issued a ban banning Mr. Dung from going to the stadiums managed and organized by the VFF for a period of 36 months (3 years). Mr. Dung’s spitting action violates Article 71 of the Disciplinary Regulations.

However, when the 2023 season had just started, this fan appeared in the stands on Lach Tray Stadium and took souvenir photos with other fans. It is not clear what the VFF side will do before the act of “breaking” the penalty of Mr. Dung and Hai Phong club.

10 years ago, fan Tran Tien Dung and another person jumped down and rushed into the car carrying the referee team to assault Mr. Vo Minh Tri after the match between rubber Dong Thap and Hai Phong ended with unfavorable results for the port land team. As a result, Mr. Dung was arrested by the Provincial People’s Court Tien Giang sentenced to 12 months of suspended prison for disturbing public order.

In addition, Mr. Tran Tien Dung also regularly lights flares at matches of Hai Phong Club and is an “acquaintance” of the chairman of the port land team – Mr. Van Tran Hoan.
