Biden “Plan to urge all Americans to get ‘new’ vaccine for Corona 19”

US President Joe Biden revealed that he is reviewing a plan to inoculate a new Corona 19 vaccine for all Americans.

On the 25th (local time), President Biden, who was on vacation in South Lake Taro, California, USA, met with reporters and said, “I signed a request for additional funding for a new vaccine that is necessary and effective this morning.”

On this day, President Biden added, “It has not yet been finalized,” but added, “It is likely that all Americans will be recommended to be vaccinated regardless of whether or not they have been vaccinated before.”

President Biden’s remarks are in line with the announcement on the 20th that the White House plans to urge all Americans to take additional vaccinations (booster shots) this fall.

This is due to the recent re-proliferation of Corona 19 and the situation in which three new variants of the Corona 19 virus are spreading.

Currently, organizations that are making mask-wearing mandatory again are appearing one after another. For example, last week Morris Brown College in Georgia notified all staff and students to wear masks. In addition, schools, hospitals, and businesses are also mandating the wearing of masks.

In this regard, Moderna said that early data showed that its latest vaccine was effective against the new Corona 19 mutant viruses ‘Eris’ and ‘Phonax’.

In addition to Moderna, Pfizer and Novavax have also developed new versions of vaccines targeting XBB.1.5, a sub-variant of Omicron.

According to the US media CNBC, citing officials from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the vaccine is currently waiting for approval from the US Food and Drug Administration and is expected to be available to the general public in mid-September. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s independent expert advisory committee plans to vote on recommended guidelines for eligibility for the new Corona 19 vaccine through a meeting on the 12th of next month.

Experts advise ‘don’t give in to fear’
