According to initial information, before that, at about 1pm on February 1, Thuyet wore a helmet, covered his face with a mask, and held a rotating colt gun (ball-shot type) to storm into the Binh Minh transaction office of the Bank. BIDV in Dong Huong ward, Thanh Hoa city.
Here, Thuyet pointed a gun to threaten employees at the counter with the intention of robbing money, however, the subject was resisted by the security of the transaction office, so he could not perform the act. Then, Thuyet got into the car to escape.
Before the violent nature of the subject, after the incident, functional units of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police and Thanh Hoa City Police quickly investigated and arrested the subject. After 2 days of committing the crime, subject Thuy was arrested by the functional forces.
According to information from bank, the incident did not cause damage to people and property. BIDV’s Binh Minh Transaction Office is located on the first floor, Tecco Center Point apartment building, and has just been put into operation since before the Lunar New Year 2023.
