The price of Galaxy S23 Ultra can be reduced by up to 8 million VND compared to the listed
Samsung introduced 3 high-end smartphones of the Galaxy S23 series at dawn this morning 2/2. Vietnamese retailers immediately launched pre-order programs, including a discount of up to VND 7-8 million for the S23 Ultra model – the most expensive and forecasted best-selling device.
Chains such as The Gioi Di Dong, FPT Shop, CellphoneS, Mobile Viet… all offer discounts of 3-5 million VND per product. Specifically, Galaxy S23 reduced by 3 million VND, S23 Plus decreased by 4 million VND, S23 Ultra reduced by 5 million VND compared to the listed price.
Some of the chains mentioned above also reduce from 2-3 million VND when customers buy via e-wallets, through some affiliated banks, or open a new bank card.
In total, customers can get a discount of 6-8 million VND depending on the model. For S23 Ultra, customers can get a maximum discount of 8 million VND.
According to the shopping trend over the years, Mr. Nguyen Lac Huy – representative of CellphoneS, predicts that Galaxy S23 Ultra will be the best seller, accounting for about 80%, Galaxy S23 Plus about 15%, the rest is Galaxy S23.
Although it is the most awaited Android product at the beginning of the year, the gloomy economy may affect sales of this product.
Mr. Tran Xuan Nam, Product Manager of Samsung FPT Shop system, said that last year’s Galaxy S22 Series increased by 2.5 times compared to Galaxy S21, so the new generation this year is expected to grow. However, the wave of savings in spending may cause the increase to not be as before.
“Signs of economic slowdown since Q4/2022 have started to affect consumers and partly reduce customer demand for high-end products, from which we forecast the sales of Galaxy S23 will be 1.5 times more than S22 Series,” added Mr. Nam.
According to Samsung’s announcement, Galaxy S23 Ultra 12GB + 1TB version costs VND 44,990,000; Galaxy S23 Ultra 12GB + 512GB: VND 36,990,000; Galaxy S23 Ultra 8GB + 256GB: 31,990,000 VND.
Meanwhile, Galaxy S23 + costs 26,990,000 VND, 8GB + 256GB version. Galaxy S23 22,990,000 VND for the lowest version, 8GB + 128GB.
