As VietNamNet reported, last night (January 4), many mobile users of MobiFone network in Ho Chi Minh City encountered network signal problem.

Accordingly, from about 16:30, some MobiFone subscribers were in a state of no signal. The incident lasted for more than 20:00 on the same day, greatly affecting the daily life and work of many people.

Explaining the above incident, MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation said that the network’s system is experiencing local congestion, leading to customers in some areas difficult to use the service. The operator also apologizes to customers and hopes to receive sympathy and cooperation from service users.

According to the latest announcement of MobiFone, in order to contribute to overcoming the consequences of service interruption on the evening of January 4, and to be grateful for the companionship and understanding of users in difficult times, the operator will deploy a special package.

Specifically, subscribers with service interruption will receive a gratitude package with a capacity of 4GB data, 10 minutes of inter-network voice calls and 20 minutes of intra-network voice calls.

Sharing with VietNamNet, MobiFone said that the deployment of the gratitude package has been implemented since January 5. Users can use this gratitude package within 24 hours from the time of receiving successful donation notification.

In terms of subscribers, MobiFone is currently the third largest mobile network in Vietnam, after Viettel and VNPT. According to the 2021 Information and Communication Technology White Paper, MobiFone accounts for 18.54% of the market share of terrestrial mobile phone service subscribers, equivalent to about 24 million subscribers, of which about 12.5 million subscribers. mobile broadband.
