In 2022, the industry’s revenue is estimated at 3.89 million billion VND, up 12.7% compared to 2021 and 1.5 times higher than the forecast of GDP growth rate in 2022 of the whole country. The information and communication industry’s contribution to the State budget is estimated at 98,982.3 billion VND, up 24.7% compared to 2021.

The total number of employees working in the information and communication industry in 2022 is more than 1.5 million people, an increase of 5% over the same period last year. Labor productivity (calculated by contribution to GDP) is estimated at about 648 million VND. Labor productivity growth rate is 6.7% compared to 2021.
