Bus fire on Highway 51

According to initial information, around 9pm on February 9, the truck with plate number 63C – 045.70 circulated on Highway 20, when it arrived in the area of ​​​​Phu Cuong commune (Dinh Quan district), it collided with a motorbike going in the opposite direction.

The accident caused the young male driver of the motorbike to die on the spot, the vehicle was stuck in the front of the car and caught fire, then the fire spread to the car cabin. Fortunately, the local people handled it in time with personal fire extinguishers.

The deceased victim was identified as BVD (23 years old, living in Thanh Son commune, Dinh Quan district).

Accident on Highway 20

Also at dawn on February 10, a passenger car with plate number 72B – 006.42 was traveling on Highway 51 (the section through Phuoc Tan ward, Bien Hoa city) suddenly caught fire.

There were 23 people on the bus, including the driver, assistant and passenger. Bien Hoa City Police and Long Thanh District Police dispatched two fire engines to the scene to control the fire.

Driver Tran Van Ut, who was driving the car, said that the fire started from the car’s taplo. When the car was on fire, the driver pulled over to the side of the road and evacuated the passengers safely. Although the incident did not cause any loss of life, it burned down the entire passenger car mentioned above. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
